The man behind the cup
Pau Alda
Pau Alda came to Koh Samui in 2020 and made it home. Together with his Thai wife, he built PauPau — roasting Thai highland Arabica on-site and creating a warm space where locals and travellers slow down over honest coffee and homemade pastries.

From farm to cup
The Roastery
Every bag of coffee sold at PauPau starts its journey in the highland farms of Thailand. We work directly with regional growers to select Arabica beans that meet our standards — then bring them to Koh Samui to roast in-house.
Small-batch roasting means we control every step: the temperature, the timing, the profile. The result is coffee that's fresh, traceable, and honest.
